Shortcuts

Most commonly used operations are complemented with keyboard equivalents or "shortcuts." These include most of the menu items, record navigation buttons, and other operations such as displaying the Help window.

Subtract a day from the displayed date: -
Display the Calendar: c
 

Other Keyboard Shortcuts

Command-Backspace: Deletes the selected records from list views.

Option Key: Hold this down while clicking the Key icon next to a password field to display the Password Generator dialog. This will allow you to temporarily change the parameters when generating a random password.

Enter Key: Saves the current record while in a detail view. Also accepts most dialogs.

Command-W: Closes any window with a close box.

Escape Key and Command-Period: Cancels any changes to the current record while in a detail window. Also cancels most dialogs.
